My Car Seat

Tell me the truth.  Do I look silly in this car seat?

My Mom got it on Amazon, but she doesn't love everything about it.  I can connect my harness to the car seat, but here's the problem...the connection is so short that I can't lay down comfortably when I need some shuteye.  If she loosens it up, I can jump out of the car seat (he-he).  There's no happy medium, she says.  You know what we like about it?  I can sit up higher and enjoy the view.  I dunno.  What do you guys use?  Got any car seat suggestions for a dog my size?

  2. That picture is adorable. I mean, I am talking Parker should be in an ad for that doggie car seat.

Listen little Parker. Your safety is your Mom's #1 priority. You have to stay put in that car seat. I've met you and I know that "staying put" is not high on your agenda...but safety first! lol

    Happy Mother's Day Jane! :)

  3. We are in our seatbelts in the back of the car but we are much bigger dogs, never had a carseat.

  4. Hi Y'all!

You look quite handsome in that car seat. My Human had a Basenji, Lola, many moons ago. My Human says Lola liked the station wagon my Human drove 'cause she, Lola, could lay high enough to see out the window.

I have the same problem you have when I ride on the back seat of the sedan...the seat belt keeps me from being able to lay down and turn around comfortably. Seeing as how I'm 100lb retriever I don't use the car seat...but if I was small as you or Lola it would be nice to sit high enough to look out.

    Y'all come back now,

  6. We use a crate in the car and not everybody can go at the same time! (we're getting a bigger vehicle soon) The crate is attached to the baby car seat anchors and also to the underside of the front seats so it's really secure.
