Mom says she has always kept Dad's smelly socks at an arm's length. I personally don't know what all the fuss is about. I like 'em. I don't find the odor offensive at all. Sweat socks, dress socks, it doesn't matter. What's your take on this matter?
You are too cute Parker...As for socks, we don't have many around here cause Momz usually wears sandals - drat! but I do like a nice nap in the dirty laundry basket...does that count?
That's funny Connie! We gate off the upstairs, so Parker doesn't have access to the bedrooms unless we take him up their supervised. Lord knows what he'd get into!
With all those toys at your feet and you go for the smelly socks? Geeze! lol Kinda like the kids and cardboard boxes being preferred over the toy inside!
I enjoy stealing a sock out of the laundry basket now and then. The best is to hide just one and watch Mom hunt for it. Moms love that game. I prefer to steal dirty undies they have a great smell too them too!
My guys aren't too interested in socks, although Jimmy will sometimes play a game of fetch with a pair of those short sport socks if they are rolled into a ball. But only at night if he's not too sleepy.....
Our last pup LOVED to pick up our dirty socks and carry them around. (It was easy since the hubs always misses the laundry basket...) We used to call her a sock-sucker. It was gross.... but also sweet in a way. We'd come home from being out and find her asleep with a dirty sock.
Hope you don't chew holes in them! Maggie and Duke can shred a sock in minutes. :)
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, Parker doesn't destroy them. Which is surprising because he chews other things to bits!
DeleteWell, I personally don't like socks Parker... Shiner seems to have a thing for underwear though!
ReplyDeleteHe he! That's funny! :)
DeleteParker, socks and cute dogs go together ! {and Dad may not blame you if you destroy his socks ;-) }
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the sox Parker. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Our old dog Jasper used to swallow socks in one gulp, no matter what the smell!!
ReplyDeleteFinn :)
Wow! :)
DeleteHey Parker
ReplyDeleteI'm with you buddy, I love socks too, and I'll take whatever I can get, clean or dirty!
Have fun, great mischief!
Your pal Snoopy :)
He he! Glad I'm not alone on this one! :)
DeleteMy dogs are with your mum on this one. They don't care for smelly socks. Used snotty tissues are another story.
ReplyDeleteHe he! We all have our favorites! :)

Leroy is more interested in smelly shoes over smelly socks, I have no idea why!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mischief Monday, my gang loves to carry socks around also!
