Mom's Day With the Dogs
Did you know that Mom is a food blogger? Her blog is called Make Ahead Meals for Busy Moms. Sometimes she gets invited to events as a blogger in the New England area. Well, over the weekend Mom got invited to Fenway Park in Boston and get this...dogs were invited, but she didn't take me! Of all the nerve, right?!
She said that she didn't know if it would be too much for me, blah, blah, blah. She said they don't like to park near Fenway, so they park at a train station in Boston and take "The T' the rest of the way and dogs aren't allowed on the train. She said that I probably would be all over everybody cuz I'm still a young, energetic pup. (Can I help it if I'm friendly and want to make new friends? Besides, most people giggle when I lick them all over their face.)
This is Mom on the left with her two nieces. You might recognize the girls from Dad's sister's dog blog Miley's Daily Scoop! These girls are crazy about dogs! After all, they have a Golden Retriever and a Golden Labrador. So Mom knew they'd have a great time at this event.
Wanta see all the pictures and cute doggies at Fenway? Here's a link to her post on her food blog:

Mom said that she'd like to take me next year now that she knows what to expect. She said that the folks at Fenway took great care of the pets and their parents. But she'll have to find a good parking spot near Fenway if I'm going to go next summer.

Black and White Sunday | What a Smile!
Mom says this is the best picture of me smiling so far. The truth is...I was just eating a cookie when she snapped this photo. Don't tell Ma though. She's all happy cuz she thinks I know how to pose for the camera now! :)

Monday Mischief | More Sock Stealing
Last week I showed you how I like to steal Dad's smelly socks. Well, apparently I do this more than I realized. Mom caught me at it again!

Black and White Sunday | Limited Time Outdoors
I was going to call this blog post - Getting Some Fresh Air, but the air hasn't been "fresh" in weeks (here in MA). In fact, Mom only gives me about 15-20 minutes of bird watching/squirrel chasing/grass eating time in the shade when she brings me outside. It has been over 90 degrees every day!
What state do you live in? Are you having the same weather as me?

Monday Mischief | Dad's Smelly Socks
Mom says she has always kept Dad's smelly socks at an arm's length. I personally don't know what all the fuss is about. I like 'em. I don't find the odor offensive at all. Sweat socks, dress socks, it doesn't matter. What's your take on this matter?

Black and White Sunday | Behind Bars
When the deck has shade, Parker goes out for a little fresh air. It's also a safe place for him while we eat (in peace)!

A Trip to the Vet
Did you ever get little bumps like these on ya?
Mom & Dad found about 10 of these on me. They didn't appear all at once, so Mom thought they could be bug bites seeing I've been enjoying the shady grass lately.
To be on the safe side, Mom got on the horn and made an appointment with the Vet so we could check out the situation. (Mom gets all worried when she reads things on line about "what it could be." Oy!)
The Vet's office is only 20 minutes away. I don't really mind going there. It gives me a chance to sniff and meet a few dogs!
Here I am pacing back and forth in the examination room, while Mom "takes a picture for the blog." Sheesh!
She even let me plant a big wet one on her face! He He!
So what was the diagnosis?
The Vet wasn't worried about the bumps. She said they were scabbing over, so they were probably bug bites. They have been slowly disappearing. Thank Dog! Cuz Mom's a big worry wart!

Hardly Wordless Wednesday
This is my very first summer with Mom and Dad. I'm 9 months old now.
My folks like to keep the front door open a lot in the summer (so they say). Well, for some reason, they thought I might destroy the screen in the front door when I'm looking at the squirrels and such. (Don't ask me why they think I might do it any harm.)
So my Dad (who can fix just about anything) bought a piece of plexi glass and a few brackets and voila, I have this see-through thing on the door.

Mom and Dad say that it's working like a charm!
Do you have any of this see-through stuff on your door?
