Wordless Wednesday - Growing and Changing
Light the candles! I just turned 8 months old today! Mom says she can't get over how much I've changed. (Between you and me, I can't wait to grow out my gold and gray locks. But I have to admit, my short hair do is a lot cooler right now.)

May Bark Box
Look what arrived this week!
Yup! I got my own mail!
This is my 2nd Bark Box, and I say, keep 'em comin'!
Is the suspense killin' ya?
Look! Treats, treats, and more treats!
I LOVE Bully Sticks! Mom says she likes this one cuz it doesn't stink.
Now this tasty stick is like a delicacy for dogs!
It was a nice, little chewey!

Great healthy bones! Super crunchy and satisfying!
This little raspberry can be stuffed with a treat. I haven't done too much with it yet, but Mom tells me it smells like a raspberry and I'm cool with that.
So far, Mom says that these Bark Boxes are worth the money and she likes that the box is filled with treats that are on the healthy side. As for me, I think getting my own package of goodies once a month is pretty darn fun!
Have you ever tried Bark Box?
Disclosure: Mom buys my Bark Boxes herself. We have no partnership with Bark Box. I just wanted to share my thoughts about my goodies! :)

Monday Mischief and the Paper Towel Roll
I like a good paper towel roll now and then. You?
Whenever Mom's cleaning up one of my many messes, I like to stand nearby (like a few paws away) just so I can assess the situation. One never knows when a lonely paper towel roll could be left behind. You know what I'm talkin' about right?
Well, I hit the jackpot the other day! Just as Mom was performing her motherly cleaning duty, I swiftly lunged in and grabbed the roll.
What is my goal, you're wondering? Hmmm....let's just say I like to see how many pieces I can shred this paper dognip in before Mom gets her mitts on it!

Burp! That was good stuff, Mom. Sorry 'bout the mess.

Mother's Day Gifts for Mom and Me!
Being a 7 month old pup, I'm new to this special day called Mother's Day. But now that I've seen Mom's gifts, I'm all for it! Look what Mom got from Dad!
A cookbook to make all kinds of treats for little 'ol me! Wahoo! Mom says that Dad gives her the best presents. He figures out her current obsession (that would be me!) and he gives her things that he knows she would like. Of course these kind of gifts might have something to do with her being a food blogger and all. She likes to cook (so I hear).
Look what else she got!
Mom said she'd use this to make some cold treats for me this summer! Not sure what a cold treat is, but I can't wait to find out!
Chicken Soup and White Cheddar frozen treats...sure, why not!
Bone-shaped, homemade treats! Yes, please!
So what do ya think? Good stuff, huh? I wonder ifI'll Dad will get any gifts like this for Father's Day? I think I'm gonna like this Mother's Day/Father's Day thing!
~Parker
P.S. Here's a link to these gifts on Amazon.

My Car Seat
![]() |
| Tell me the truth. Do I look silly in this car seat? |
My Mom got it on Amazon, but she doesn't love everything about it. I can connect my harness to the car seat, but here's the problem...the connection is so short that I can't lay down comfortably when I need some shuteye. If she loosens it up, I can jump out of the car seat (he-he). There's no happy medium, she says. You know what we like about it? I can sit up higher and enjoy the view. I dunno. What do you guys use? Got any car seat suggestions for a dog my size?

A Walk Along the Water
The weather has been gorgeous lately. I finally had some time (and nice weather) to take Parker for his first walk by the water. There's a walk/bike path in the next town over that usually has plenty of people walking their dogs, so I was hoping Parker could do some schmoozing with other dogs for a change.
As you can see, there weren't many people out today. But we did meet a few larger dogs. I think we scared off the pet owners because Parker got overly excited to be with the dogs and they seemed more interested in walking than mingling.
You couldn't ask for a better day. Not a cloud in the sky, 70 degrees, a beautiful view, and one happy puppy!
I don't think Parker knew what to make of the water. He got close, but he didn't seem interested in touching it.
This walk did wonders for both of us! I can't wait until I'm home for the summer, so we can do this more often! (Just 6 1/2 more weeks of school! Yes...I'm counting!)
