Monday Mischief and the Paper Towel Roll

I like a good paper towel roll now and then.  You?

Whenever Mom's cleaning up one of my many messes, I like to stand nearby (like a few paws away) just so I can assess the situation.  One never knows when a lonely paper towel roll could be left behind.  You know what I'm talkin' about right?

Well, I hit the jackpot the other day!  Just as Mom was performing her motherly cleaning duty, I swiftly lunged in and grabbed the roll.

What is my goal, you're wondering?  Hmmm....let's just say I like to see how many pieces I can shred this paper dognip in before Mom gets her mitts on it! 








Burp!  That was good stuff, Mom.  Sorry 'bout the mess.

    Well, he had fun! Wait till he gets hold of the toilet paper and runs with it through the garden ..lol.. it looks like one is having some kind of cheap decor party ! You enjoy yourself, Parker !

    I'm very impressed that you don't swallow any of that roll, Parker. Huxley also likes to chew on paper rolls but he usually only gets the leftovers that Leo tosses down.

    Hi Parker! We saw you on the Blog Hop and stopped by to see what sort of mischief a little guy like you gets up to.

    Our pack loves paper towels rolls too and they do the same thing - shred! One of our blind girls, Breeze, she likes to shred newspaper too. Now that makes an even bigger mess.

    Great job Parker!!

    I love those rolls too and just like you leave the bits on the floor and don't eat them!

    I learnt the sound of the last piece being taken off and by the time it was off I was there along side them with my big puppy eyes asking for the roll - works a treat buddy, you should try it! :)

    Great mischief Parker!
    Our kitties love to shred paper towel rolls too, but they do it while they're still full of paper towel, which makes an even bigger mess - you should try it! :)

    What a ferocious chewer you are! My pup likes to dig used snot tissues out of the trash when I have a cold. :( I'll have to talk to her about switching to paper towel rolls.

      I'm surprised Parker doesn't do that. He certainly can reach the little rubbish container in the bathroom.

    Oh Shiner also like to shred paper stuff sometimes. Especially if she finds a Q-tip on the ground... those are her favorite.

    aww, so cute. my poodle used to do that but he was small so we gave him the empty toilet paper roll. tons of fun for free! it was a win, win.

    Hmmm...we know of gerbils that shred paper rolls like that but you are definitely a dog...have your mom get you a decent bone next time ;)
